Euoidium lycopersici (Cook & Massee) U. Braun & R.T.A. Cook 2012
This fungus has been described from Australia as causing powdery mildew of tomato. It has been also reported from North America (Salvucci et al., 2016). The conidia are formed in chains of 3 to 5. They are ovate to cylindrical, single-celled, with slightly wrinkled surfaces, and measure around 20 x 15 µm. Before 2001, E. lycopersici has been apparently confused with the closely related species Pseudoidium neolycopersici.
