Encarsia pergandiella (parasitoid) Howard, 1907
The wasp is a solitary autoparasitoid and widely distributed. It parasitizes whiteflies, for example species of the genus Bemisia, as primary hosts. Only females develop in these primary whitefly hosts. Males develop as hyperparasitoids in secondary hosts which may be either their own female larvae or those of another primary parasitoid.
