Elsinoë perseae (Jenkins) Rossman & W.C. Allen 2016 - (avocado scab)

This fungus has been described from tropical and subtropical parts of the Americas, infecting avocado leaves and fruits. It has been also recorded from parts of Africa and Asia. A record of its presence in New Zealand has been shown to be incorrect.
