Egeria densa (weed) Planch. - (Brazilian waterweed)

This is an invasive aquatic weed in many subtropical and warmer temperate regions. It is native to South America and has become a popular aquarium plant in many countries. When it escapes and establishes in the wild, it can form dense mats in shallow fresh water bodies.
