Abstract: This standard describes the conduct of trials for the efficacy evaluation of insecticides against aphid vectors of persistent viruses on seed potatoes and e.g. Potato leafroll virus (PLRV). For aphid vectors of nonpersistent viruses on seed potatoes see EPPO Standard PP 1/− (in preparation).
EPPO Standard PP 1/230 Aphids on potato should be consulted if the direct effect of the insecticide on the aphids is to be determined.
