Diuraphis Aizenberg, 1935
This genus of aphids contains around 10 species which infest mainly cereals and grasses. Economically the most important species is the Russian wheat aphid which has invaded various countries since the 1980s. The aphids of this genus have a slender body, a long rostrum, weak wax production, and various other morphological characters. E.g. winged forms have marginal sclerites.
