Didymella tanaceti (R.G. Shivas, S.J. Pethybr. & S.J. Jones) T.L. Pearce, J.B. Scott, Crous, S.J. Pethybr. & F.S. Hay 2016 - (tan spot of pyrethrum)
This fungus causes tan spot of pyrethrum (Tanacetum cinerariifolium) in Australia. It can be very common in pyrethrum fields, and often has a similar impact as the ray blight pathogen, Stagonosporopsis tanaceti. Pyrethrum plants infected by Didymella tanaceti develop tan-coloured spots on the leaf margins which often merge.
