Dicyphus (predators) Fieber, 1858

This genus of zoophytophagous bugs contains around 60 species and is widely distributed. They prey on small arthropods but also feed on plants. Several species are recognized as beneficial natural enemies of pests and Dicyphus hesperus is commercially produced for use in greenhouses. Common preys are whiteflies, thrips and spider mites.
