Chenopodium ficifolium (weed) Sm. - (figleaved goosefoot)

This grass is considered to be native to parts of Western and Central Asia and has expanded its distribution range to Europe and parts of northern Africa. More recently, it has spread to parts of North America. It typically grows near large rivers, where it can become abundant. However, it is also found on nitrogen-rich, disturbed land and agricultural fields.
