Cercospora moricola Cooke 1883

This fungus is found in tropical regions and causes a leaf spot disease on mulberry. The spot are reddish-brown with an irregular shape. As they enlarge they cause "shot hole" symptoms with the centres dropping out. Severe infestations can result in defoliation of the infected leaves.
