Cercospora coffeicola Berk. & Cooke 1881 - (brown eye spot of coffee)

The fungus infects coffee leaves and berries, mainly in South America. The leaves show characteristic zonate eye spot symptoms with a light-coloured centre, surrounding darker rings and a yellowish outer border. Yield losses can reach 30%.
