Cercospora carotae (Pass.) Kazn. & Siemaszko 1929

The fungus causes Cercospora blight of carrot, a disease mainly reported from the Americas. The incidence in carrot fields can be high (e.g. Milosavljevic et al., 2014). The leaf lesions are irregular shaped to round, light brown in the centre with a darker margin. Spots on the stems are elongated.
