Cercospora asparagi Sacc. 1877

This fungus causes a blight disease on asparagus in several regions. Outbreaks have been reported with a high incidence of infections (e.g. Han et al., 2013 and Hay et al., 2017). The lesion are small and oval in shape, tan to brown, with a reddish-brown margin. Infections result in defoliation.
