Cercospora apii Fresen. 1863
This fungus is widely distributed and causes leaf spot, blight or storage diseases on celery and various other plants. The conidiophores are cylindrical and around 100-200 µm long with thick and dark conidial scars. The conidia are needle-like to filiform and around 50 to 130 µm long.
