Ceratothripoides claratris (Shumsher 1946) - (Oriental tomato thrips)

This thrips attacks tomatoes in southern Asia and severe damage might cause wilting. It is also a vector of Capsicum chlorosis virus (Premachandra et al., 2005). It is closely related to and possibly a colour variant of Ceratothripoides cameroni.
