Calystegia R.Br. - (false bindweeds)
This genus contains around 25 species of mainly climbing plants. They have oval to elliptical leaves and white or pink trumpet-shaped flowers. The genus is related to the true bindweeds (Convolvulus). Several species are agricultural weeds in maize fields and other crops. For example hedge bindweed, Calystegia sepium, is a common maize weed in Europe and North America.
