Calotropis procera (weed) (Aiton) Dryand. - (rubber bush)

This plant is native to tropical and subtropical parts of Africa and Asia. It grows to a shrub or small tree and is invasive in the Americas, Australia and the Pacific. It has been apparently introduced into some areas for its medicinal properties. Mainly pastures and rangeland are affected and the weed competes with native species.
