Association of Fusarium species with root rot of Cymbidium orchids
Australasian Plant Pathology 25 (4), 226-228
Abstract: Fusarium solani, F. proliferatum, F. oxysporum and F. subglutinans were isolated from the roots of diseased orchids in the genera Coelogyne, Stanhopea and Cymbidium. The pathogenicity of these fungi to Cymbidium orchids was assessed. All four fungi were associated with an increase in root necrosis and were reisolated from diseased roots.
