Asperisporium caricae (Speg.) Maubl. 1913 - (papaya black spot)
This fungus is widely distributed and causes black spots on the leaves and the fruit surface of papaya. The conidia are solitary, elliptical with 1 septum and around 20 x 8 µm large.
