Asparagaceae (weeds) - (asparagus family)

This family has a world-wide distribution and contains around 2-3,000 species and more than 100 genera of monocots. A number are cultivated like asparagus or agave, but several others are considered agricultural weeds. The latter includes, for example, bridal creeper (Asparagus asparagoides), an invasive climbing weed.
