Armillaria mellea (Vahl) P. Kummer - (honey fungus)
This species is a soil-borne fungus that often lives as saprobiont on dead wood but can also cause serious root rot diseases in trees, grapevine and other woody plants. The fruiting bodies are honey-coloured.
