Aphelinus mali (parasitoid) (Haldeman, 1851) - (woolly aphid parasite)

The species is a parasitoid of aphids and has been successfully introduced into various countries as a biocontrol agent, for example in the 1920s and 1930s against the woolly apple aphid, Eriosoma lanigerum.
