Anopheles sineroides Yamada, 1924
This mosquito is found in eastern Asia and has been reported from Japan, South Korea and parts of China. It is not regarded as a malaria vector. The preferred breeding sites are pools and ditches (e.g. Kim et al., 2011). Taxonomically, An. sineroides belongs to the Anopheles hyrcanus species group.
