Anopheles scanloni Sallum & Peyton, 2005
This mosquito is found in Thailand and Vietnam and is associated with forest and limestone habitats. It is anthropophilic and is involved in the transmission of the Plasmodium falciparum and P. vivax forms of malaria. Taxonomically, it is closely related to Anopheles dirus.
