Anopheles peryassui Dyar & Knab, 1908
This mosquito is found in northern parts of South America. It is regarded as a malaria vector and can carry Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax. It is mainly found in forest environments, but can be also associated with humans (Bourke et al, 2018).
