Anopheles kochi Donitz, 1901
This mosquito is found in south-east Asian countries, like Bangladesh, Malaysia, southern China and Indonesia. It feeds mainly on livestock and may be also attracted to humans. It has been found to carry Plasmodium vivax sporozoites in some areas and is suspected to transmit malaria. It breeds in various water accumulations, including turbid water, marshes and rice fields.
