Anopheles hancocki Edwards, 1929
This mosquito is found mainly in central and western Africa and can be common in parts of Cameroon. It bites humans and is regarded as an efficient, secondary vector of malaria. It breeds in stagnant and slow flowing water (Akono et al., 2015).
