Anopheles dthali Patton, 1905
This mosquito is regarded as a malaria vector and is found in the Near East as well as in neighbouring regions like eastern and northern Africa. It can be common around houses and is associated with livestock. It breeds in rock pools and springs, sometimes in water with high salinity.
