Anopheles cracens Sallum & Peyton, 2005
This mosquito is found in parts of southern Asia like Thailand and Malaysia. It preferentially feeds on humans and can transmit Plasmodium vivax and P. knowlesi. Taxonomically, it is closely related to Anopheles dirus.
