Anopheles belenrae Rueda, 2005
This mosquito has been recorded from Korea and parts of China. It is considered to be a potential malaria vector and can carry the malaria agent Plasmodium vivax (e.g. Rueda et al., 2010). It has been mainly collected from cattle shed and breeds in a variety of habitats, including rice fields, marshes, ponds, pools and water tanks.
