Anastatus bifasciatus (parasitoid) (Geoffroy, 1785)

This tiny wasp is widely distributed. In Europe, it is an egg parasite of various Lepidoptera and Hemiptera. The hosts include important pest insects like the pine processionary moth (Thaumetopoea pityocampa), the gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar) or the brown marmorated stink bug (Halyomorpha halys).
