Acrobasis Zeller 1839

The larvae of this genus are borers or casebearers (living in frass tubes). They attack the shoots and buds of hickory, pecan, other trees or shrubs and other plants. The adults have a wingspan of 10-20 mm with grayish or brownish forewings and uniformly gray hindwings.
