Cercospora albida Matta & Belliard, 1973

The fungus causes a white leaf spot disease on Phaseolus beans and can infect a large part of the crop. The symptoms consist of angular spots that sporulate on the lower leaf surface. The conidia have 1-4 septa and are hyaline, filiform and rounded at their apex with a size of around 60-65 x 2.4 µm.
