Cyperus aromaticus (weed) (Ridley) Mattf. & Kukenthal - (Navua sedge)

This sedge is native to tropical Africa and has become weedy in parts of the Australia/Pacific region and in south-eastern Asia. In some areas it is an aggressive weed of pastures, sugarcane and bananas. It can form dense stands and overgrow many tropical pasture species.
