Arachnida (ticks, parasitic mites and spiders of medical importance)

The group includes blood sucking and other ectoparasites of land vertebrates as well as well as allergy causing dust mites and spiders of medical importance. Some are important vectors of diseases. As other spider-like arthropods, the members have eight legs.
