Betabaculovirus (entomopathogens)
The genus of baculoviruses contains insect viruses similar to the Cydia pomonella granulovirus (Betabaculovirus cypomonellae). They have oval to spindle-shaped protein crystals surrounding single virus particles. This genus was previously named Granulovirus.
Type species: Betabaculovirus cypomonellae.
