Anoplocnemis curvipes (Fabricius, 1781) - (giant coreid bug)

This plant bug has been mainly reported from central and southern parts of Africa as a pest of cowpeas. However, it is polyphagous and can attack many other types of crops. The adult bug has a size of 20-30 mm.
