Cheilomenes Chevrolat, 1837

The members of the genus Cheilomenes are typical ladybird beetles, often with prominent colour patterns and around 3-6 mm long. They prey mainly on aphids and are found in Africa, Asia and Australia.

Currently, the following species have been entered into the system:

• Cheilomenes lunata (predator)
• Cheilomenes sexmaculata (predator)
