Nesidiocoris tenuis (Reuter, 1895) - (tobacco capsid)
This species is a zoophytophagous mirid, 2.3-3.5 mm long and green. It feeds on several types of plants, especially on solanaceous crops, causing necrotic rings around stems or shoots, as well as damage to flowers and fruits. However, it is more important as a predator of insect pests, attacking a large variety of pests and is frequently released in greenhouses. See the page Nesidiocoris tenuis (predator).
