Adelphocoris fasciaticollis Reuter, 1903 - (cotton plant bug)
This species of plant bugs is an important pest of cotton in northern China, where it feeds mainly on the buds and flowers. The shedding of attacked buds results in yield losses. Populations have increased significantly after the introduction of Bt cultivars. Other crops like alfalfa, beans and wheat are also attacked.
