Abstract: Female wasps of Tamarixia radiata (Waterston) (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) avoided probing or parasitizing hosts that the same or another female wasp had already parasitized. Furthermore, they discriminated against hosts parasitized by herself versus another female wasp when these were the only choices. Nevertheless, incidence of superparasitism was low under these conditions compared with normal parasitism, underscoring the strength of the deterrent mark.
