This is a small ladybird beetle (length of 1.6-2.1 mm) which is found in southern parts of China and in Japan. It preys mainly on whiteflies, but also feeds on aphids and scale insects. For example, it has been studied as a biological control agent against ''[[Bemisia tabaci]]'' and the citrus whitefly ''[[Dialeurodes citri]]''. The adults have a black dorsal colour and are brownish underneath.

This is a small ladybird beetle (length of 1.6-2.1 mm) which is found in parts of China and in Japan. It preys mainly on whiteflies, but also feeds on aphids and scale insects.
