Typhlodromalus Muma, 1961

This genus of predators mites is widely distributed and contains around 20 species. Several are important natural enemies of pest mites and pest insects. For example Typhlodromalus aripo has been introduced into Africa from South America against the cassava green mite Mononychellus tanajoa.
