Tussilago farfara (weed) L. - (coltsfoot)

This herb is native to Europe and parts of Asia and has been introduced into North America. In the past, it has been used, and in China it is still used (He et al., 2020), as a medicinal herb. However, in most countries its use is no longer recommended, due to the risk of the development of liver damage.

In Europe and in North America, it is regarded as an important and persistent agricultural weed, especially on heavy loam and clay soils. It affects a variety of crops like cereals, sugar beet or grapevine.
