Trichogrammatoidea cryptophlebiae (parasitoid) Nagaraja, 1979
This wasp has been described from South Africa as an egg parasitoid of the false codling moth (Thaumatotibia leucotreta]). It is also effective against other Thaumatotibia species, like the macadamia nutborer (Thaumatotibia batrachopa). T. cryptophlebiae is commercially available against Thaumatotibia species in South Africa. In addition, it has been introduced into Israel, where T. leucotreta is invasive (Kaspi et al., 2020).
