This wasp has been described from India as an egg parasitoid of Bactra venosana (Tortricidae). It has been also reported from other parts of southern Asia, in the east until Taiwan and the southern parts of China. The commonly reported hosts are various species of Lepidoptera, including important pests like Tuta absoluta and Plutella xylostella. The colour is mainly reddish-brown with black abdominal tergites.
