Therioaphis Walker, 1870
This genus of aphids contains between 20-30 species. They feed mainly on leguminous plants like lucerne (alfalfa) or clover. The most important pest species is Therioaphis trifolii which is widely distributed and also feeds on some other plants outside the family Fabaceae.
