Telotylenchidae

This family of nematodes contains a number important plant parasites. For example several stunt nematodes belonging to the genus Tylenchorhynchus. They are widely distributed and attack a large variety of crops. The family is characterized by the head morphology and DNA structure of its members.

Some authors consider this group of nematodes as a subfamily (Telotylenchinae) under the family Belonolaimidae.
