Tagosodes Asche & Wilson, 1990
This genus of planthoppers includes around 20 species (Planthoppers of North America). These are found in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Australia. Many species have been previously placed under Sogatodes Fennah, 1963, a genus which is now regarded as a synonym of Sogatella.
Several Tagosodes species are crops pests like Tagosodes orizicolus, a rice pest in South America.
