Stemphylium lycopersici (Enjoji) W. Yamam 1960 - (gray leaf spot of tomato)

This fungus is widespread in warmer regions and causes leaf spot, blight and wilt diseases on various crops like tomatoes and green pepper. Symptoms on tomato start as small lesions that expand with the centres falling out and the disease might lead to defoliation. Other species of Stemphylium might cause similar symptoms on tomatoes.
